Lynn Robinette was born in the small delta town of Clarksdale, MS. After Lynn’s parents were divorced, she moved to Hernando, MS where she graduated high school. After high school Lynn graduated from Christian Brothers College in Memphis, TN with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting.
Lynn was blessed with two children, Stephen and a year later she had Robin. Both Stephen and Robin eventually were diagnosed with Freichiech’s Ataxia. While trying to deal with all of the barriers Lynn and her family had to overcome, she knew that she had to do something so that other families would not have to blindly navigate through the challenges which she had been having to deal with as a single parent.
Lynn’s children were the inspiration of the Wishes 4 Me Foundation. Since the beginning of the Wishes 4 Me Foundation, Lynn has been contacted by hundreds of people throughout Georgia as well as the USA. Lynn is honored to have been in contact with so many people but sad at the same time that so many people have so many challenges. Lynn’s biggest frustration is that she cannot help every disabled person who wish to live actively in the community.
