Jerry has been living at our home since November of 2010. He suffers from a seizure disorder. He came to us after his Mother passed away. He had been living with his brother and because they had to work, he was a total shut in and went to an adult day care center 6 days a week. He spent a lot of his time putting together puzzles and copying from his Bible (because he cannot read or write).
Jerry’s quality of life has changed immensely since moving into our home. He has breakfast and coffee with friends, loves to go to the store and spends a lot of time in the yard during the warm months which also includes his own garden! He had tons of tomatoes this years as well as corn, peppers and lot of other vegetables. He loves to share them with family and friends as well as the neighbors.
He also loves to play board games with his roommates and caregivers. His favorites are
Dominos and Sorry. He also loves his music and plays his favorites all the time. His laughter fills the house daily and he just loves his life now.
